Mapping Project

Misión

DiasporArm’s foremost mission is to uncover talents, competencies, and vital connections across Armenian communities—from Sydney to Los Angeles. Through this Mapping Project, we aim to develop a comprehensive and dynamic directory of Armenian and Armenophile individuals, institutions, and enterprises, fostering collaboration, recognition, and strategic development across the global diaspora.

Scope of the Project

1. Individuals

a. Identify distinguished Armenians and Armenophiles across fields such as Academia & Research (e.g., doctoral students in nanotech, scholars in Գրաբար), Healthcare, Law, Diplomacy, Journalism, Philanthropy, Entrepreneurship
b. Evaluate their sphere and scale of influence (local, regional, global)

2. Educational Institutions

a. Map Armenian schools and programs: languages taught, number of students, successes, and needs
b. Share resources: best practices, tools, and innovative teaching methods
c. Engage stakeholders to work towards a standard Armenian curriculum
d. Generate resources to empower schools in raising successful, values-driven generations

3. Religious & Cultural Centers / Organizations

a. Identify their missions, scope of activities, and available operational data (e.g., annual budgets)
b. Facilitate partnerships and support networks across similar institutions globally

4. Enterprises

a. Map Armenian-owned or Armenian-serving businesses
b. Identify industry type, services/products, and key data (revenues, workforce)
c. Foster synergies between businesses, community needs, and the Armenian economy

b. Searchable & Filterable by location, field, scale, and expertise
c. Designed for targeted networking, mentorship, strategic partnerships, and engagement
d. Collaboration-enabling: Connecting stakeholders with aligned goals and values

Progress Report

We have already compiled a foundational database covering all four categories—individuals, educational institutions, cultural and religious organizations, and enterprises—serving as the backbone of the Mapping Project.


Goal

An accessible, intelligent digital platform that brings visibility to the global Armenian network—enhancing national belonging, strengthening identity, and enabling impactful cooperation across generations and borders.
