Tufenkian Foundation provides free crop seeds to boost Artsakh’s food security. In partnership with the Ministry of Agriculture’s Village Support Fund, the foundation has distributed 154 tons of seeds to all Artsakh villagers. The initiative includes buckwheat, pea, lentil, and flax seeds for cultivation, as well as alfalfa and korgana seeds for animal feed. The ongoing blockade by Azerbaijan has increased the need to improve local food production. The Tufenkian Foundation has been working on other programs to increase Artsakh’s food security and self-sufficiency, including providing 90 tons of potato seeds in April.
