Meliksetian Anna is an Armenian financial analyst and research specialist residing between Moscow, Russia, and Los Angeles, USA. She was born in 1987 in Moscow, USSR.

Ms. Meliksetian began her academic journey in Moscow, where she obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Economics from the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics (2004-2008). She continued her studies at the Finance University under the Government of the Russian Federation, earning a Master’s degree in Finance in 2014. In 2024, Anna completed a second Master’s degree in Global Business Development from San Diego State University in California, USA.

Ms. Meliksetian’s professional career started in Moscow as a brokerage and financial markets specialist, followed by an investment brokerage role at Sberbank’s Cyprus branch. She then transitioned to risk management at Sberbank’s headquarters in Moscow, specializing in operational, credit, and investment risks, with a focus on startup ventures and fintech markets. Most recently, she has been engaged in international market analysis and business development research in the United States, working as an independent consultant.

Beyond her professional activities, Anna is actively involved in community initiatives, particularly within the Armenian diaspora. She has volunteered as a language and financial literacy educator in both Russia and the U.S. More recently, she has taken on the responsibility of leading the Schools and Education platform within the Armenopedia mapping project.
