During 2018-2020, along with the economic growth in Armenia, the shadow economy has been significantly decreased. The official Facebook page of the Government published a video on the reduction of the shadow economy in Armenia, reporting that state revenues have increased by more than 40 percent, which has enabled to enlarge social, healthcare and educational expenses, increase pensions, salaries and build & improve roads on an unprecedented scale.
