Emile Ghessen, a former British Royal Marines Commando, disclosed on Twitter that his documentary “45 Days – The Fight For A Nation” about the 2020 Nagorno-Karabakh war received a nomination for an Academy Award in the Best Documentary Feature category. The video was made in fall of 2020 when Azerbaijan began a massive military onslaught against Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh). The film’s description states. “This film is the story of those who fought in the war”. Also, the film aims to provide a perspective free of disinformation.
