Armenia Gives Up Minefield Maps After Azerbaijan Releases PoWs

The Acting PM has announced that Azerbaijan has released 15 Armenian prisoners of war after which Armenia handed over maps of minefields in the areas now controlled by Azerbaijan. The US Secretary of State welcomed the release of the detainees as well as Armenia’s decision to provide Azerbaijan with the maps. Pashinyan explained in a Facebook post that this was made possible with the help of the US, Georgia and the European Union. There are still over 200 Armenian PoWs and captives being held in Azerbaijan.
