Initiated by DiasporArm, the Armenian Students’ Network (ASN) bridges Armenian students across the globe, acting on three networking stratums; Students, Educators and Entrepreneurs. Educators will mentor, give students orientation in terms of education, various grants, scholarships, etc. Entrepreneurs will offer guidance in terms of professional orientation, offer part-time jobs, internships, sponsor projects and hunt talents for their enterprises. Beyond helping our students, the ASN aims at preparing an elite generation of leaders and successful, influential members of society targeting excellence.
DiasporArm’s purposeful mission is bridging among different Diaspora communities, with the objective of creating synergy among associations, groups and individuals, sharing values and goals. Among such initiatives, the Armenian Students Network (ASN), aims at helping students and beyond that, preparing an elite generation of leaders and successful, influential members of society. ASN is working on three networking stratums: students, educators, entrepreneurs.
Educators role is to help with much needed mentoring, giving students orientation in terms of education, various grants, fellowships, scholarships, etc. Entrepreneurs offer part-time jobs, internships, sponsor projects and hunt talents for their enterprises. In each of the three stratums, ASN is linking existing structures, such as Armenian Students Associations (ASAs) with professional and educators’ associations. ASN is also cooperating with HyeConnect, a Portal designed for linking Armenian “societies”, that will host the ASN with “communities” (sub-groups) for each discipline, (medicine, engineering…).
The project was initiated in November 2021 and projected launch is scheduled for early 2022.
