Diaspora Youth Ambassador Program Has Been Launched By Armenia

The Office of the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs of Armenia has anounced the launch of the Diaspora Youth Ambassador Program which is aimed at developing a dynamic network of the Armenian youth. This program is being supported by the Jinishian Memorial Foundation. 25 youth diaspora members from all over the world, 22 to 35 years old, will be targeted for 1 year. The program will also include a 2 week stay in the homeland, after which, the diaspora members will participate in a “Youth Forum”, where they will try to come up with a policy paper aimed at creating a sustainable relationship between diaspora communities and Armenia. Once the participants return to their diaspora communities, they will be tasked with creating content for local and international outlets while also having community meetings and repatriation talks with their respective diaspora communities. The application deadline begins on Jun 1st and the deadline is on June 25th.
