Dutch-Armenian mixed martial artist Gegard Mousasi’s near perfect run as a Bellator MMA middleweight continues as he defended his 84kg championship against John Salter on August 13 in Uncasville, Connecticut. Mousasi, who has only lost 2 fights (57 total fights) in his career, earned a TKO finish in the third round, after withstanding an early onslaught from Salter. Mousasi is expected to fact Austin Vaderford in his next defense, Vanderford is 11-0.Mousasi won his first belt in 2018 and reclaimed defended it once, before losing a heavy matchup to Rafael Lovato Jr.
