Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan has declared his willingness to work towards normalization of relations with Armenia, saying “We can work to gradually normalize our relations with an Armenian government that has declared its readiness to move in this direction”.Erdogan’s comments come after Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan noted there were positive signals from Turkey at a government sitting on Friday. Erdogan touched on the need for a new constructive approach in our region and remarked that this normalization must begin with the parties avoiding “unilateral accusations and using history as a source of enmity.”
