First Holy Mass to be served at Three Altars Armenian Church in Turkey’s Malatia for the first time in a century


The Armenian Patriarch of Constantinople will be serving on August 29 the first Holy Mass in a century at the Three Altars Church in Malatia. The organization HAY-DER has assumed responsibility of renovating the structure of the church which in ruins for a century, in particular, the altars and baptistery.The church will be officially reopened on August 26 and will be conducting holy masses, baptisms and wedding ceremonies for the local Armenian community as well as serving as a cultural center.
