Earlier on Friday, Lithuanian Foreign Minister Gabrielius Landsbergis, during a press conference with his Azerbaijani counterpart Foreign Minister Ceyhun Bayramov, said that his country of Lithuania recognizes the Armenian Genocide in an answer to a question asked during the conference. “The lessons of history are very difficult, particularly for those who were not part of it,” said Landsbergis, “We saw that the U.S. President recognized a clear historical justice, like Lithuania has done.”
