MoreFreedomFoundation has released a video on Russia’s strengthened role in Armenia & Azerbaijan, where MFF host Rob Morris notes that Russia is the ultimate victor of the second Artsakh war stating that because of how Russia was able to deploy Russian peacekeepers at the “right time,” Russia maintained its dominance over the Caucasus by having a military presence in both Armenia and Azerbaijan.
Morris also states that by staining Russian peacekeepers in Artsakh, which in turn allow for it to maintain its regional dominance, Russia can now focus on other fronts it faces, including Central Asia where it has a rivalry with China, and Eastern Europe where it has a rivalry with NATO.
