Osseointegration of the implant into a bone became possible in Armenia thanks to “AIP Tech” laboratory. The process implies creating a three-dimensional model of the damaged bone by computed tomography, on the basis of which the implant is created. The laboratory founded by Marine Aghayan, Doctor of Chemical Sciences, who returned to Armenia after the Artsakh war, promises exceptional innovations. The new biodegradable bioactive material, that decays over time, forcing the bone to grow already has big demand. One of the main goals of the AIP Tech team is to make Armenia an exporter of implants. It is noteworthy that the implants are provided to wounded soldiers free of charge.
