At the initiative of the Embassy of Armenia in Spain and in cooperation with the Complutense University of Madrid, a Chair of Armenian Studies was established in the Faculty of Geography and History at the University.
The Chair was created to raise awareness about Armenia in Spain, teach the Armenian people’s history and politics, disseminate the Armenian language, and popularise Armenian culture.
Ambassador Sos Avetisyan and the Complutense University of Madrid Vice Chancellor, Juan Carlos Doadrio Villarejo, on November 21, signed a relevant memorandum.
