Dikran Abrahamian is a Canadian Armenian journalist and MD currently residing in Canada. He is the founder and publisher of Keghart.org, a prominent website dedicated to community activities and human rights, voicing the concerns of Armenians both in the Diaspora and in the Homeland. He was born in Beirut, Lebanon in 1944.

Mr. Abrahamian obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Public Administration from the American University of Beirut in 1966, then earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from Yerevan State Medical Institute in 1980. His dual expertise in political science and medicine underscores his diverse academic background.

Dikran Abrahamian’s most notable contribution to the Armenian community is his establishment of Keghart.org in September 2007. Through this influential platform, he has addressed critical issues including advocacy for human rights and the prevention of Genocide. Keghart.org has significantly contributed to raising awareness and fostering unity among Armenian communities worldwide.
