Uruguayan Senate called on Azerbaijan to unblock the Berdzor corridor

The Uruguayan Senate unanimously passes a declaration calling on Azerbaijan to “comply with its international obligations and ensure free movement along the Artsakh-Armenia corridor, putting an end to the harassment of the population”.
The Uruguayan Senate also expressed its solidarity with the people of Artsakh and condemned Azerbaijan’s intentional cut off of Artsakh’s gas supply.
Uruguay was the first to officially recognise the Armenian Genocide back in 1965.
