The first six houses of the “100 Houses in Artsakh” project have been commissioned

The dream of six families from Artsakh to have their own roof became a reality as the first private houses of the “100 Houses in Artsakh” project were commissioned on July 30.

Active construction has been going on for a year in the Dahrav community of Askeran region with the cooperation of Artsakh to Live Foundation and Public TV of Armenia.

Major donors of the project were also present at the housewarming. Yeremyan Projects has donated cattle, pigs and chickens to resettled families to provide them with permanent occupation and stable income.

Co-founder of Artsakh to Live foundation Mane Tandilyan informed that 160 million drams were donated during the past year and that construction work has started for the next ten houses.

Artsakh President Arayik Harutyunyan received the organizers of the “100 Houses in Artsakh” project on July 31, reaffirming, that the launched project is important not only for solving social problems, but also has strategic importance in terms of preserving the armenianness of Artsakh.
