Armenia will transfer the edited draft of the peace treaty to Azerbaijan soon

Armenia and Azerbaijan continue working on a peace treaty, Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia, Armen Grigoryan, told reporters on December 8, when asked about the new proposals of the Azerbaijani side, which were handed over to Armenia.
“We continue working on the text, and our edited version will soon be transferred to Azerbaijan”, stated Grigoryan.
He also said that the Armenian side would make all efforts for the peace treaty to be signed by the end of the year. Commenting on the Artsakh Conflict, Grigoryan only said that there is yet to be a final decision on whether the peace treaty will solve the issue or whether there will be a separate international mechanism.
“There was an agreement in Washington to create an international mechanism so that Artsakh and Azerbaijan can discuss the rights and security of Armenians of Artsakh. So far, there has been no clarity about that mechanism”, concluded the Secretary.
