Azerbaijan and Armenia near Peace Agreement, says Blinken

US Secretary of State Blinken reports significant progress in reaching a lasting peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia during talks in the United States.
On Thursday, Blinken stated that both sides made significant progress in the final meeting of the bilateral peace talks in Arlington (Virginia), as reported by TASS.
The pace of negotiations and the foundation laid by our colleagues shows that we are really close to a peace agreement, Blinken added.
The talks began on May 1 and discussed issues of regional security and stability, as well as the humanitarian situation in the Berdzor (Lachin) Corridor due to the blockade by Azerbaijan.
